Production + Fulfillment

Every item is handmade-to-order in our studio! We have adopted a slow fashion philosophy, which means that we produce our pieces in smaller batches. This reduces waste that would otherwise accumulate from overproduction.

Due to the small size of our team, please allow up to 10 business days for your order to ship out. In some cases, certain pieces may delay your shipment. Check the product page description for item-specific details.

During peak periods such as summer or holidays, please allow up to 20 business days. Please keep in mind that every single piece is made-to-order. If you need your order by a certain date, please contact us before placing your order to ensure that it will arrive on time.

Domestic Shipping

We are happy to offer free domestic (U.S.) shipping on orders over $35! Please note that orders over $90 may require a signature confirmation at delivery. Pick-up may be available depending on the date and time. Please contact us for availability. Otherwise, shipping rates are as follows:

All of these methods include a tracking number. Please note that these are estimated delivery times and may depend on USPS' schedule.  

International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer a flat shipping rate on international orders. Cost ranges depending on your location. However, we do offer free international shipping on orders over $200 USD! 

The shipping method we use is USPS First Class International, which has an estimated delivery time of 7-21 business days. This estimated time can decrease or increase based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: the package being held in customs, location, holidays, and natural events. 

While a tracking number is provided through USPS for international orders, once it leaves the U.S., the package transfers to your country's carrier. This means that the tracking may stop updating. For problems with tracking, please contact USPS or your local carrier. 

To have your package shipped out using a different carrier or via rush shipping, please contact us prior to placing your order.

International Taxes + Duties

When shipping internationally, you may incur extra fees in the form of taxes or duties. This is regulated by your country (e.g. EU countries may charge VAT upon receipt of the package). Please note that Talay Jewelry does not hold any responsibility for any taxes, customs, or duties imposed by your country before/upon receiving your package. We operate using the Delivery Duty Unpaid method, which states that the responsibility of paying any outstanding fees or charges falls on the customer. If you do not choose to pay the fees, the package may be returned to us. 

Incorrect Shipping Address

Unfortunately, we may not be able to fix an incorrect shipping address entered at checkout. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing the order if you have entered the wrong address or information. If we have not printed the shipping label yet, we may be able to fix the address for no additional charge. If the label has already been printed, your order will incur double the cost of shipping. If the package has already been sent, it is unfortunately out of our hands.

Lost or Missing Packages

After a package leaves our studio, it is the carrier's duty to update and process the package. Talay Jewelry is not responsible for any events after the package is sent out, including lost or stolen packages. If it is noted that your package was delivered, but you did not receive it, please contact USPS (or the carrier it was shipped with) for further information and assistance.
